Chardon Road Resurfacing Project Update
as of May 3, 2022
Trash Pick Up will continue as normal
Beginning Monday, May 9, 2022, road construction will begin on Chardon Road
Phase 1 will be between Route 91 (SOM Center Road) and Route 174 (River Road).
The westbound lane will remain open.
The eastbound lane will be detoured around to Eddy Road.
This Phase is expected to last approximately 30 days.
Phase II will be between Route 174 (River Road) and Worrell Road.
The eastbound lane will remain open.
The westbound lane will be detoured around to Rogers Road.
This Phase is expected to last approximately 30 days.
All driveway entrances (business and residential)
will remain open throughout the construction.
Trash pickup will remain on the normal schedule as Republic Services is permitted to service BOTH sides of Chardon Road.
You can expect delays. Your patience is appreciated.

Block Party Information
Do you want to get to know your neighbors, or have some new neighbors you would like to introduce to your "block?"
Plan to have a Block Party, register your party with the City and the City will provide various items to help with the event, such as
blockades, visits from Police, Fire & Service Departments, visits from Council members
and a list of food that our restaurants will provide as a "Block Party Food Package."

Project Hope, which is listed as Lake County's only shelter
for the homeless. Their website contains important data
and contact information.

To be notified of Water Department work in your area, please sign up for
the Reverse 9-1-1 (listed below) to ensure that you are timely notified
of Water Department repairs. This will take care of notification of any
emergency repairs by the Lake County Department of Utilities. Signs
will be posted in the areas that are to be flushed routinely.
