Emergency Services
A modern, highly trained fire department is the most diversified service a city can provide its residents. The Willoughby Hills Fire Department responds to approximately 1,500 emergency incidents each year.
Services in response to any incident causing an immediate threat to life, property, and/or the environment including but not limited to:
- Fire suppression & investigation
- Emergency Medical Services (
EMS)
- Auto accidents & vehicle extrication
- Hazardous Materials (Haz-Mat)
- Technical Rescue (including rope, water, ice, river, etc.)
- Smoke/Odor investigations
- Utility emergencies (including electrical, gas, and water utilities)
- Carbon monoxide incidents
